Tree-sitter "Fresh" Again Visited by Cherry-picker

11 am Rally Today to Insure His Safety

UC Berkeley-The central campus tree-sit by "Fresh" with a message of democratizing the UC regents was again visited before light broke this morning by heavy equipment and police. Police arrested ground support people and with their cherry-picker truck took all of the tree-sitter's gear and food and water. They left when it started raining, but Fresh is left in the tree with only a space blanket.

Supporters are planning to rally at the tree-sit at 11 am this morning, where threats of an anti-tree sit noon rally surfaced yesterday.
